Browser and device standards

Based on Q4 2023 data

Here are the standards for support of both browsers and devices. Click on the relevant tab below to find out more.

Criteria for browser support

  • Any browser, device or operating system with >5% usage over preceding 3 months must be supported
  • In addition, any browser version will be supported for the current and 2 previous versions (even where a particular version is <5%)
  • If we deem that a browser is up and coming and we believe penetration is going to go above the 5% within the next 12 months then this has been included in the standards
  • Google Analytics data should be reference for the basis of the assessment (or equivalent if this has not yet been implemented)
  • Global trends to be reviewed in parallel to see what is on the horizon.
